Eric V. Siegel is making his first appearance with Lick the Spoon. A student of improvisation at the UCB Theater, Eric is throwing away a brilliant career in the computer and cognitive sciences for a shot at theatrical glory. Now in the private sector, he garnered a Ph.D. from Columbia, where he received the Distinguished Teaching Faculty Award (a total popularity contest) for his humorous original songs about computers, which provided his students an opportunity to stop taking notes for 5 minutes or so. Eric’s favorite roles include Major Murgatroyd in Patience, and Michael Jackson in The Bronstein Weekend Annual Airbands Contest 1989. Eric likes Disco.
